The flows are steady and the visibility is holding on the upper end of the river below Lake McCloud. Best flies remain Olive Hotspots, Sweet Peas, and Frenchies. Golden Stones continue to be on the menu for the trout. Rogue Golden Stones, Stimulators or a Chubby Chernobyl would be good flies to fish towards dark, fish the glassy sides of the river with your big dries. For dries, keep an assortment of sizes from #12 -18 in Adams as you may encounter various Mayflies hatching towards dark, and the Goldens will be ovipositing then as well.
