The Upper Deschutes has been fishing fair. Fish have been taken on golden stones, psycho princes, duracells, two-bits, zebra midges, and nitro caddis. Dry fly opportunities have been present some days as well with fish taking golden stones, PMDs, and ants/beetles. As always streamers around some of the undercut banks and cover is a fun way to get some aggressive eats. The mosquitos are thick up there this year so bug spray is a must. Dry-dropper setups are fun and effective on the upper all summer.
