Morgan Lake provides a great nearby fishing opportunity for those in the La Grande area. Largemouth bass are abundant and can be caught on a variety of gear types. Stocked rainbow trout are also available.‌

Morgan Lake is a great place for kids in the summer as smaller largemouth bass can be readily be caught on worms fished from bobbers or on the bottom. Follow this link for more information about recreation at Morgan Lake.
