Today we took 29 people down to the Coronado Islands and are coming back with 3 Yellowtail, 1 Bluefin Tuna, 29 whitefish, 10 Rockfish, 2 Lingcod, 2 calico bass, 7 sculpin. 

 

We saw good sign of tuna and yellows they just weren’t in an aggressive mood. We have a private charter Saturday but Sunday’s open party trip is a definite go! 

 

We would recommend a 30lb flyline rod, a 40-50lb yo-yo rod and a jig stick. Remember to have fresh line on your reels and a pocket full of 1/0- 2/0 circle and j hooks. We recommend the circle hooks and fluorocarbon with the Bluefin around. 

 

Full day Coronado Islands trips will be departing seven days a week. Departures are at 5:30 AM, check-in begins at 4:45 AM. Passports are required.
