Wow, the weather has been pretty fantastic. We have had a few days here and there of heavy wind and a minor cold snap, but that is all completely normal for this time of year. The one thing that we did experience was a pretty gnarly lake turnover/algae bloom, again, normal for this time of year. It was a little heavier than average, but no effect on the fish or their health, so that is a good thing. As we start our departure from October and roll into November we will see some mixed weather patterns for sure. Shorter days are closing in on us, and we see a serious cold snap in our very near future. We are excited for this, as we know this brings the fish in. So, with that being said, remain versatile in your layering and be prepared for any weather situation. As always, use that sunscreen, drink that water, and make sure you have a good pair of shades for them eyeballs of yours.
