We are approaching one of the best times of year to fish for steelhead on the Imnaha River. From now through April, fish will be moving upstream from the Snake River into the Imnaha River and Big Sheep Creek providing fishing opportunities along the way. Many popular techniques will work including drifting roe, jigs fished under bobbers, and casting flies. Trout and whitefish will be available to anglers throughout the winter and into spring.
