It seemed like the full moon had a downside effect on the billfish in all areas. The inshore super pangas, reporting for 8 days fished reflected limits on mojarres, cochitos, 39 pargo, 12 palometas, 1 barracuda and 2 corvina. The offshore catches for 28 days fishing reflected 8 stripers, 3 sailfish, 7 dorado and 9 yellowfin tuna.
Mazatlan Climate: Partly cloudy days with temps from 55 nights to 83 daytime highs.
Sea Conditions: Very favorable with temps stable at 76 degrees from inshore to offshore and mostly calm
Best Fishing Area: There was no concentration of fish in the offshore waters and the fish were scattered over a wide area out to the southwest of the Marina El Cid.
Best Lure/Bait: All of the billfish were taken on the rigged trolling baits.

From there, he elaborated on a worthy and exciting fish report for the week for the Zihuatanejo area and said that the Pacific striped marlin are now biting quite well and there is good action for sailfish and that the dorado have returned in force. Overall, he said it's "really good fishing"......
