Hi Everyone Capt Dustin on the Western Pride at Davey's Locker Newport Beach is currently in the middle of a WIDE OPEN giant squid bite with squid pushing 40 pounds off Newport Beach! They have over 50 giant squid onboard already for only 16 anglers and everyone is hooked up. I have enclosed a couple pictures shot from Capt Dustin's cell phone just now. As a result the Patriot is online for an open party giant squid trip departing Saturday night Jan 30 at 6:30 pm. Make sure to bring heavy gear at least 30 pound test and 40 or 50 pound even better. 6 inch squid jigs are available at the office if needed. We will have twilight trips nightly departing at 6:30 pm as long as the squid remain in the area.
