http://www.truckeeriveroutfitters.comThe flows are steady at 23 CFS. This is common for March. The fly fishing has been outstanding both on the Nevada and the California sides of the river. Blue Wing olives have been hatching and there has been some really good dry fly fishing. Nymphing either with a dry dropper set up or using an indicator has also been really good. Warmer weather this week should only improve the fishing. Luckily the East Walker is protected some from run-off and should continue to be in great shape for a while. Flies to try are: Dries- Baetis and golden Stones, nymphs - poxy back stones, mighty mite baetis, pheasant tails, zebra midges and wd-40\'s. Never fished the East Walker? You are really missing out on a spectacular fishery. Contact us for more information.
