The DWP plans to up the flows again. Has been over 300 cfs but settled at 280 cfs as of 5/17.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Excellent
Fishing has been red hot . . . we'll see if it holds with increasing flows???
Midges followed by Baetis and Caddis as usual.
Go big and bushy on your top fly.
Recommended Flies
Nymphs: Size 18 green midges and WD40's in # 18 - 20 range, both bead and non bead. Micro mayflies on top and midges on bottom is all you need most of the day.
Dries: Para-Adams and Baetis Dry's, size 16-20. Elk hair caddis,parachute caddis,e/c caddis,hot creek caddis(olives,tans,browns)#18-#20s, extended body.
BWO's in 20-22.
