http://www.truckeeriveroutfitters.comFlows are 50 CFS. Stampede Reservoir is pretty low so look for flows to remain in this area for a while. The fishing has been really good over the past couple of weeks. Baetis and midges continue to be out in force. Both nymphing and dry fly fishing continue to catch fish. If the flows stay this low a more stealthy approach is going to be more important as the spring rolls along.

The river fished decent over the past week and run off took somewhat of a break. Although the Truckee was a little high it was very clear. There was an assortment of bugs coming off depending on where you were fishing. BWO's, Grey Drakes, March Browns and even a PMD or two were spotted over Memorial Day weekend. The weather over the next couple of weeks is supposed to really be nice so old man run off should return. It......
