http://www.virginialakesresort.com Beautiful weather was on the table for the entire
week along with a buffet of fish. Bridgeport
Fish Enhancement Foundation browns, Alpers Trout
2 weeks ago, and DFG dumping 500 lbs of really
super looking fish along with added fish from
Conway Ranch's Inland Aquaculture Group.
Bait for the week was red power bait, garlic and
plain yellow, pink power worms, and night crawlers
Lures went off like a rocket with the top spot
held by red/gold Bouyant, gold buoyant, fire
tiger buoyant, silver Phoebe, and blue/silver Kastmaster.
Flies that got tugs were olive flashy wooly
buggers, black, olive and dark brown Doc's TLS
(Twin Lakes Specials), Griffith's Gnats, small
Adams, grey hackle yellow (no tail), olive and
black leeches, black Matuka, red throat olive Matuka and small emergers.
The lakes were very busy and shoulder to should

Sunday. Parking was brutal with all the birders
on Saturday, and the bird never showed up (smart
bird), as he would have had no where to perch.
