We had about 70 tuna for the day with 10 fish in the 75 to 110 pound range and most of the rest in the 30 to 60 lb. range. The bite died out late in the day so it was time to head north and spend the final 2 days offshore looking for bluefin tuna and albacore. Thanks for checking in, Jeff and the guys.

Good evening again from the independence. We had a great day today down at the rocks. Shortly after daylight we started hooking tuna and kept busy until late afternoon. We did catch 1 Wahoo as well as some good grade yellowtail. The score for today was 74 tuna, 9 of which were 80 to 110 lbs. the weather has been really nice the past few days.
