Hopper dropper set-ups are the way to go as we get into the fall and lower water levels. As the water gets lower a more stealthy approach is also going to be necessary. Make sure you drift the edges and the shallows before marching right into a run. You will be surprised on how many fish are holding along the banks.

For the most part they have been in that range for a few weeks now. The hoppers are starting to show and the Big Ugly dry fly fishing has been pretty good. Streamer fishing has also been good. The water is a little high so be careful trying to cross. The best times to fish are in the early morning up until about 11:00 am and then again the last hour or two in the evening.
