It appears this week we'll have a bit of summer again, but just a bit cooler. Highs are expected to be in the mid 60s and lows in the mid 40s. The campgrounds tend to be a bit cooler as the chilly air settles in the pockets down by the streams. It's very strange how the same temp feels a whole lot colder when that fall nip arrives. The following USFS campgrounds will be closing next Sunday - North Lake, Sabrina Camp, Mountain Glen and Willow. There is a full hook-up RV campground - Creekside RV park which is on the road to South Lake. We'll try and keep you updated on the campground closings. Remember your polarized dark glasses and sunscreen. Wash your hands after you applied sunscreen, bug juice or any other fu-fu juice.
