Jose and Mary Flores of Escondido caught 10 trout for a total of 6 1/2 pounds, the largest at 1.4 pounds on night crawlers at the T-Dock. Flea of Descanso, one of our regular fishermen, caught 3 trout weighing in at 5 pounds. His largest trout weighed in at 2 pounds. Flea was fishing with nightcrawlers at the T-Dock. There have been reports today of people limiting out, but with the full moon, it has been a struggle.
Don't forget the free fishing class is held every Saturday at 10 AM at the Launch Ramp. The Decontamination wash down is required for all private vessels and motors before a launch. Greetings from Lake Cuyamaca. The fishing remains very good. The cooler weather has helps plus the nice Rainbows that were planted last week. The Bass, Crappie and Catfish continue to bite so come on up and try your luck. The usual bait, nightcrawlers and Power Bait are working the best.
