Yes, you read the rating right. We've upgraded it to fair. Last week our guides experienced a pretty good caddis hatch, and caught some rainbows. Fishing still wasn't as good as it should be for this time of year.

We have recieved a few reports of decent fishing, but for every angler who says they hammered on the Crooked, there are 3 or 4 who say they caught nothing but whitefish. Hopefully by this time next year the fishery will have recovered to its historical status.
