http://www.fishingvideos.com"Today things improved quite a bit for us," noted the report from Royal Polaris for February 15. "We ended up with 43 tuna and while fishing for them, picked up another 33 wahoo. The tuna grew overnight! Francois, of the famed French connection, did some connecting all right, two fish over 200. His first was around 205 pounds and it won him a prize of a WFO tackle system for the first tuna over 200 on the trip. Late this afternoon he beat that with a 213. Greg Curry got the third fish of the day over 200 with a 214-pounder off the kite, and his personal best. Sterling Tanouye connected with a fish of around 140 for his personal best, and also of note was a tuna around 170 caught by one of our two lady anglers, Allison Stavaridis. Allison has already caught a number of excellent fish but this was her best so far on this trip. Morning bite started off around 5 AM, when we landed 15 and had a few accidents or there would have been more. A slow but steady pick the rest of the day with better signs of bird life and breaking tuna than the last few days, so maybe the best is yet to come. I'll keep you posted of our progress. Weather was breezy, but we're not moving anywhere so it was very warm and comfortable."
