Local wild turkey hunters have seen improved success with the improved weather, noted Dave Ebright at Chico Sportsmens Den. "They're [turkeys] all over", emphasized Ebright. "There are a lot birds around the area, believe me. We haven't heard too much from the mountain areas, but hunters are doing well throughout the valley.BR>
"Some opportunities are available down by the river, not all of the pots are under water. A number of hunters have already gotten their second bird of the season. Don't forget that the limit is three total for the spring season."
