Hello Pacific Queen Anglers,

Yellowtail have arrived locally and we are going to begin running 1 day trips down to the islands to go catch them. There has been a large volume of fish there for the last couple of weeks however they just recently started biting. This would be a great opportunity for you to dust off your tackle and jump aboard the Pacific Queen for some Spring time Yellowtail action.

The fish have been averaging 20-25 lbs and have been caught fishing yo-yo irons, surface irons, and bait. We suggest you bring a 40lb. setup for fishing the iron and a 25lb. setup for fishing bait. We will have plenty of sardines onboard for bait fishing. You will want to bring 2O hooks for the sardines. There will also be a chance at catching Rock Cod so don't forget your sinkers. We will provide the squid.
