"Our first day brought us 20 tuna and 47 wahoo," wrote Red Rooster III skipper Andy Cates June 1. "Everything was on the anchor except for a couple of stops on wahoo when we first got here. We showed up at 900 and got the anchor down at about 1100. We had just one or two going all day. Biggest fish was about 190 pounds and everything else 100 to 170 pounds. Nice grade; we will see how it goes tomorrow. Hopefully we can get some flyers tonight."
