Angling pressure has been light, though some have been reeling in a few fish. Anglers pulled in a pair of 20-inch fish while trolling a four-inch swim bait resembling a rainbow trout. The fish were caught just above Cottonwood Cove Marina on the Nevada side. Fishermen have also seen some fish in the 16-inch range. Largemouth bass have also been showing up near Cottonwood and Aztec Wash. One lucky fisherman found success for rainbow trout by using a fly rod near Aztec Wash and Monkey Hole.
