http://www.excelsportfishing.comHello Anglers, We departed the landing yesterday at 0600 and got our beautiful load of sardines and are currently heading south. Our decision is not final but we are thinking of starting on the outside and working in if we need to. We have a little bit of sloppy weather but it is all behind us as we go. We on the EXCEL would like to say congratulations to Billy Santiago Jr. on the Royal Polaris who brought back an incredible 56 yellowfin over 200 pounds, way to go Billy. That really shows everybody the full potential of these big beautiful yellowfin we have had the fortune to fish for this season. In our last four trips down to the lower area we have been fortunate enough to bring back 93 yellowfin from 200 to 297.5 pounds and 195 yellowfin from 130 to 199 pounds. The fishing, like I have said in the past, is just incredible and is something that we as a fleet will remember for the rest of our lives. We left yesterday on our Braid 17 day trip and we will keep you all posted as we go as to what we do through out the trip. There is a lot of anxious passengers and they are ready to go. Shawn and the crew
