Hello Anglers,
I don't know how to quite put today into words other than to say it was a awesome day of big fish fishing. We shut down in the dark at about 0400 and drifted until after dark when we gaffed our last fish which was a 192 pound yellowfin for Chuck Tingler. There was fish around the boat all day long but they were reluctant to bite some of the day. There was one point we had no bites for 2 hours but we had good fish around and it paid off to stick it out. We ended the day today with 46 yellowfin from 130 to 268 pounds. There were six fish over 200 pounds and another six in the 192 to 197 pound category. The average weight of the fish today was 175 to 185 pounds Our big fish of the day honors go to: Woody Smith with a 268 Steve Wenzel with a 192 and a 245 Phillip Pond with a 216 Mike Shaw with a 215 Ben Frazier with a 207 Ed Smutzler with a 204 Our angler's today did a incredible job on these big fish and there is still 3 angler's that did not get a big fish today so we hope to get them one tomorrow. Shawn and the crew P.S. Lawrence, the new Fishworks shorts with the pad in them worked great today!!

We ended the day with 7 wahoo to 65 pounds and some 15 to 18 pound yellowtail and a few yellowfin to 30 pounds. The weather does not get any better than what we have today and it looks to be more of the same tomorrow. The big yellowfin are on our menu for tomorrow so hopefully they will......

Report Date:

Hello Anglers,
We arrived at the dock today along with half the long range fleet who all brought back beautiful catches of fish. We arrived in the harbor bright and early to get the fish out of the fish holds and ready to go. As we started to weigh the big ones we noticed the fish were a little bit bigger than we had anticipated. When we finished up weighing the fish we had a grand total of 39 yellowfin over......
