http://www.excelsportfishing.comHello Anglers, Here is the report for the last two days. Wed. the 8th we had a pretty slow day with 19 yellowtail and three yellowfin tuna. The weather was pretty choppy and not good for working in. The 9th, yesterday, was just what the doctor ordered on the fishing side of things. We had what we needed on 20 to 33 pound yellowtail by 1000 in the morning and then started to head up the line. These yellows were really frisky eating surface poppers, flylined mackerel and sardines,yo yo jigs, and dropperloops. The deadliest weapon of the day was the Alua jig stick with a Penn Baja Special with 50 pound line and a Salas 7X light in a sardine pattern, Every single cast was a bite for the guys using this out fit. We are going to be traveling most of today and tomorrow and the ride up is less than favorable with 25 knots of wind and a very confused ocean. We will check in tomorrow. Shawn and the crew
