Hello Anglers,

Today was another beautiful day on the water. Very little wind and swell and we had a productive day to enjoy it in. We started with a school of 18 to 35 pound yellowfin that started to bite at 0530 and bit until a little after 0630. Nothing fast and furious but we picked a few. In the afternoon we changed locations and found some 120 to 150 pound yellowfin we got to fish and picked up three off of our first stop. We hooked a total of six fish but we lost a few due to tackle failures. After a little looking around we found a spot of fish that looked a little bigger on the sonar and we got on them well enough to drift with them until dark. The end result was three fish from 203 to 251 pounds, and the rest were 140 to 185 pounds. Wayne Snowbarger was the big fish killer of the day with a 251 he caught on 100 pound line and a 8\0 Eagle Claw 2005 circle hook and a mackerel. Carl Dorton was able to entice a 205 pounder on a Mackerel and a 10 oz. sinker and 100 pound line. Pete Price picked up a 201 on 80 pound Trilene Big Game with a 8\0 Eagle Claw circle hook. . We are going to try our luck out here tomorrow to see if we can put a few more trophies on board. Wish us luck tomorrow Shawn and the crew The picture is still being processed and will be posted as soon as possible.

All of our fish were on the drift offshore and the sardines were the key for us today. We picked up a few wahoo and dorado through out the day as well. Tomorrow we are going to try our luck offshore again and......
