FLW Outdoors named the 2011 National Guard FLW College Fishing All-America Team this week, which included two Chico State students, along with two others from the north state. Honored among the nation's elite were Chico State's Parker Moran and Marshal Smith. Also included were Peter Lee and Robert Matsuura of Sacramento State.

Recently graduated with a degree in Organizational Communications, Marshal Smith related, "It's an honor to be selected as an All-American out of over 3,000 other students. I could have never done it without my team partner Parker Moran. The whole thing was a blast; it was the experience of a lifetime."

The FLW College Fishing circuit consists of 495 collegiate clubs and more than 3,300 anglers. All-America teams are selected through a point system that is based on the consistency of team performances in local tournaments and regional qualifiers in 2010, and the 2011 national championship.
