Hello Anglers,

We arrived at Guadalupe island at 1000 and got the anchor down on the north end. Almost immediately we started to hook fish. Whether it was a 25 -30 pound yellowtail or a 30 -45 pound yellowfin we always had at least one or two going all day with some good flurries for 10 or 12 fish at a time. We did get a few fish in the 60 to 100 pound class and we lost a few due to hooks pulling, line breaking or just having the white sharks eat them right next to the boat.We had good scenery and quit a few boils all day so we had a good day all around. We are going to spend the night here tonight and see what tomorrow brings for us. Reported by:Shawn Steward
