http://www.alohaspirit.comHello Anglers, Yesterday we heard a rumor of a couple of wahoo at Guadalupe so we decided to try our luck for a few hours. We anchored up in the early hours of the morning and waited for the sun to come up. A little after gray light we saw a few fish on the sonar and started to fish. We picked up two 35 pound yellowfin before we got the anchor up and started to troll around. We did not troll around long before we got a clue that there was wahoo around because we got one Braid Marauder bit off, (yes it was wired with 350 pound cable) and at the same time we had a short bite on another jig. We had another short bite a little after that before we got our first fish on the boat, a 40 pound wahoo. After a few more stops we hooked a total of 10 wahoo and landed five. They were all nice fish from 35 to 55 pounds. Today was a great way to add a little more variety to our catch of Albacore(limits), Bluefin(24 over 100 pounds)Big Eye 80 to 90 pounds, Yellowfin,Yellowtail, Dorado and the wahoo was just a little icing on the cake and it could not have been for a nicer group of passengers. Our ETA to Fisherman's Landing is 0830. Reported by: Shawn Steward

We had a outstanding day of albacore fishing with 18 to 30 pound fish. When we got our jig strikes the fish would charge the boat and bite wide open for about 5 minutes and then they would back right off. We got what we needed for the day and tried to catch a bluefin in the afternoon and picked up 2 40 pounders. Tomorrow we are going to......
