The Best Day Ever!

Hello Anglers,

Let me start off by saying I don't remember getting of albacore as consistent as we did today. Every one of our albacore were 28 to 42 pounds, maybe there was a couple of small 22 pound fish in there but the average was 33 to 35 pounds. Every fish that came over the rail you had to say"that is a big albacore". We got what we needed for the day and also had a mixture of 20 to 45 pound bluefin and 40 to 70 pound big eye which kept the interest up . There was also some small yellowfin around but we released all of them. Tomorrow we are going to be concentrating on trying to catch some big bluefin and we are going to give it all day. There is also a few kelps in the area that have had some nice yellowtail on them. The picture below is of a few samples of what we had all day, left to right, Lee Erlendson holding a albacore his son Chris caught, middle is Wirt Nelson with a bluefin , and right is Don Anderson with a bigeye.

The grade......
