http://www.excelsportfishing.comHello Anglers, Today we started with a very good albacore bite while we sat on the sea anchor. From 0530 to 0800 we had 2 to 5 fish going all of the time. The fish were in the 16 to 24 pound range and we were getting most of our fish on flylined sardines and those who could cast a fishtrap were getting just as many bite as the guys using baits. A very good start to our day and when we thought it was done we pulled the sea anchor and drifted for another hour picking fish the whole time. When we got the jigs out there and started to troll around we did not get more than a quarter of a mile between jig strikes. This went on until noon before we left the area to look for new territory and possibly some bluefin but the rest of the day was very slow for us. Tomorrow we are going be spending the day looking for bluefin and yellowtail on kelps so we will check in tomorrow. Sorry no pictures today. Reported by: Shawn Steward and crew

The day consisted of our usual tackle seminar and getting all of the passengers rigged up and ready to go for the trip. The second half of our day the passengers took advantage of the time and took naps or read books on......

We started off a little slow in the morning, but the lull didn't last long. We started with a couple of strikes here and there until about lunch. And of course when the cooks make the lunch call... We all know that is when the bite is going to start (well it seems to work that way quite a......
