http://www.kenssport.comThe East Walker is still producing great??reports. The rumor of the 29" Brown turns out to be true! It was caught by Brad McFall, a local guide out of Mammoth. The photos were taken by John Sherman who is the Simms and Sage rep for the area. John is going to??try to get??this shot??in some of the fly fishing mags so keep your eye out for it! Streamers, nymphs, dries and dry dropper rigs are all doing well on the??EW. Lots of great action, not too much pressure during the week, though it's a??little crowded on the weekends.??
Twin Lakes are producing a pretty good number of pan-sized trout, as well as a few larger ones.??Fly fishing seems to be the most productive, using streamers like matukas and buggers. Trollers are having some success as well as bait fishermen.??
The Virginias are still doing great, power eggs are killer for the bait fishermen, for flies it's been??seal buggers, stillwater nymphs and matukas.??
Bridgeport Lake has still been a little tough, most anglers reporting just 1 or 2 fish per rod, if that. The weather has still been a little crazy so I'm hoping once it stabilizes the fishing out there will pick up!
The West Walker has been fishing pretty well with small spinners and spoons. The hoppers haven't come out in force yet but when they do, look out!????
