Hello Anglers, Today we arrived at the Cleofas Bank at 1030 a.m.. We saw several bird schools and porpoise schools on the way in to the bank but did not see much on them. When we got to the Bank we did not drive around long before we saw a couple of decent spots of tuna. We got the anchor down and we had good sign of 70 to 130 pound tuna boiling around the boat but we could not get many of them to bite, only a few 70 pound fish were landed in the afternoon. There was a few incidental catches of Dogtooth Snapper and nice size Pargo. In the late afternoon we saw good sign of fish around and we had a flurry before dark on 65 to 90 pound Yellowfin. We are going to stay here tonight and see if we can pick up some skipjack for bait to use tomorrow.

For those of you who charter boats out of Puerto Vallarta, their is a charter boat called the ,"Bite Me" that is more than happy to take your money to go fishing, but from what we saw, he was more concerned with trolling 50 feet off of our stern and picking up all of our passengers lines with his propellers and trolling jigs. This might have been thought to be a accident, but after the second and third time he did it, there was no question it was on purpose. Not all of the local boats were a problem, just this one in particular was a thorn in our side.

Wish us luck tomorrow and enjoy the pictures.

Hello Anglers, Sorry we have not updated since we left on Tues. but the weather has not been in our favor until today. We looked in the area where we picked up some Bluefin last trip but only saw small Yellowfin. Tonight we are going to try to get some mackerel and then head down to the lower banks to look for Yellowfin. As I said, the weather has improved greatly and it looks to be decent for a couple of......
