http://www.excelsportfishing.comHello Anglers, We spent the last two days looking offshore for tuna, yellows, and dorado. We spent the majority of Sunday spotting kelps in absolute gorgeous weather. Kelps were plentiful and easy to spot and just about every single one was full of yellowtail and dorado. Some of the yellows we were pulling off were upwards of 30lbs. Definitely a good day of fishing. Since we were pretty much loaded up on yellows and dorado we focused our entire efforts looking for tuna yesterday. We saw plenty of sign of yellowfin, bluefin, and longfins but they just didnt bite as well as we hoped for. We did get one hit on fatso albacores with a few bluefin that wanted to bite, but again, not the banner day we were looking for. We will be arriving at Fishermans Landing at 0600 tomorrow the 29th. Hello Anglers, We departed last night on a 1 1/2 day trip with 34 anglers. Most of the passengers were first timers and were eager to learn. The morning started off good with back to back to back jig strikes on yellowfin but it quickly evaporated. We did find a kelp just before lunch where we picked up 70 yellows. In the afternoon things were looking up when we boated another 25 yellowfin but we ran out of time. All in......

Hello Anglers, We started off our trip with a boom and had excellent fishing on 20-40 pound tuna along the beach. It didn't take long to find our first school and to have the whole boat bent. After the dust settled and we had enough of that sized tuna, we picked up a half dozen skin and a few handfuls of yellows. What a day. Tomorrow we will be looking for trophies down on the lower banks. Wish us luck............. JUSTIN ......
