Hello anglers, Today we arrived at the Alijos Bank at around 9:30 in the morning, It didn't take much looking around before we saw a few big breezer's of yellowfin. We drifted the schools a few times and had some pretty good bites on 25 to 50 pound tuna. The fish seemed to be less eager to bite in the afternoon so we anchored up for the rest of the afternoon. It took awhile before the tuna got around us but we were able to pick at the tuna the rest of the day along with a few nice yellowtail to go with them. Our total fish count for the day was 190 yellowfin and 4 yellowtail 1 grouper.Tomorrow we are going to try the rock to see if we can get a chance at a wahoo or some bigger tuna. I have enclosed pictures of a few of the fish we caught today. The first picture is of Chris Sndyer with a 36# yellowtail. The second is of Rudy Ligrano with a 47# yellowtail. The third is of Ericka Peterson with one of several yellowfin she caught today. That's it for now, we'll report back tomorrow.
