Today saw winds higher than forecasted compounded by an off bite. Tuesday things look to be changing! Pacific Dawn's has its LAST TRIP in Ventura for the summer departing at 10pm! Island Spirit will be departing at 6am for a 3/4 day trip.

With unfavorable conditions, the boats still put together a ralley! PacDawn caught an early seabass and three nice halibut today.. not to mention some quality reds from Rosa. Island Spirit picked on grouper and reds at Santa Cruz before making a big stop late in the day on jumbo reds! Judging by the zip-loc's coming off the boat I couldnt tell they had anything less than limits.

Lucky for everyone, the forecast calls for excellent weather! We are still tanked with live squid, so now all we need is willing biters!
