After a few days of good fishing followed by a couple of days of poor fishing at Guadalupe, white sharks appear to be back at the island. I'm wondering if the arrival didn't spook the local tuna and cause the bite lapse. It may well be that the fish just had something else to do, however. No tuna has ever written the LA Times or the U/T to offer a rationale that I've noticed. More on this after boats get back to San Diego over the next few days.
