http://www.fishingvideos.comWork continues on the Intrepid, docked and poised to operate at Point Loma Sportfishing. A guided tour June 16 with second skipper Kevin Cleary got a good look at the work that's been done and what remains to finish before the boat begins to operate in the coming weeks.
Intrepid features a classy galley, with clean, open space for chefs, and the boat's own Laundromat. Staterooms are large, as are the bunks within. Engineer Danny Nichols has designed and built a raked tower or mast and crow's nest.
Stairs to the upper decks are wider than most, as are the stairs down to the staterooms. Staterooms all have flat panel televisions. The mast has front side access via ladder and handholds.
The boat and the work being done on it look very good. Much remains to be done before the Intrepid begins service this summer.
