It was a good day of fishing for all of us today, skiffs, kayaks, and the big boat all did well. In the kayaks, the guys did good on the calico's with some very good flurries. All the bass were released; a couple yellowtails however had a tag put on them. Ken Marple landed a couple of big yellows today on his kayak, not an easy job to do out of the kayak. The skiffs saw some good bass fishing and for those that chose to chase yellows that also worked out well. Kevin Mattson landed a few, Keith Byrne had one as did, Dave Campbell and Rick Gonzales. The big boat chased schools of yellowtail around and everyone had a chance to tag a couple more for the freezer. We will remain in this area tonight, more tomorrow, the Q crew's out!!!

The skiffs had the same results. The fish were there but had lockjaw. We made a couple runs and then ran a few miles to set up for tomorrow, hopefully with better results, the Q crew's out.......
