Report Date:
http://www.thetroutfitter.com/fshreport.htmlWater Conditions: Good as of 11/3 flows are stable at 74cfs above the Hot Creek confluence.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Fair
fishing might be a little tough with some windy days ahead of us. Some fish are already pairing and nesting, so extreme caution should be taken not to disturb the spawners. Spawning trout have no interest in eating, as they are busy with other things, like producing more wild trout. Please leave the spawners alone, and be careful where you wade.
There are plenty of resident trout and large non-spawners that follow the fish up to take advantage of the feast that the spawn brings on. As the spawners make their beds, lots of bugs are displaced and feeding trout will stack below them in the deeper bend pools.
