Fish Report for 11-5-2011
"We arrived at our destination just after lunch," said the report for November 4, "and were welcomed to a showing on the Wahoo. Finding one of the shallows to ourselves, we made the best of it making several passes and not going long in between strikes. Typical Wahoo fishing, we lost more than we landed, but the action kept us on our toes. This is a Larry Brown/Avet trip that Larry could not make, but had L.A. Rod and Reel Club member Phillip Bell come as a fill in. Well Larry, Phillip landed 2 Wahoo today with one well in to the 80-pound range, maybe bigger. There was a little sign of Bluefin as well as a sprinkling of Yellowtail and Grouper, but not enough to keep us here another day. South we go."
