Trout fishing kicked in to high gear this past week, as the recent trout plant went on the chew. Shore anglers did well in Harveys Bay and E point. PowerBait and crawlers worked for those who wanted to soak bait. Kastmasters, small spinners and Rapalas also took fish to 3 lbs. Trollers reported limit or near limit action on both recent and holdover rainbows anywhere from the surface to 30' down in the water column. Leadcore fished 3 to 5 colors with dodger/needlefish combos and flat lined Rapalas was the best way to go. The next plant is slated for Dec. 13th.

Bass action is fair and most fish are being plucked out on bottom bouncing techniques anywhere from 20' to 40' deep. Both largemouth and smallmouth showing equally well.

There were a few anglers targeting crappie that did well trolling around the narrows and the island in 25' of water. A handful of cats also were caught using cut mackerel. Bow fishing reports were scarce due to a lack of anglers.
