Fish Are actively feeding on the surface at Hot Creek during the day

Hot Creek has been off colored at times but the fish are still actively feeding on the surface. 10 AM to 2 PM will get you in the sweet spot of the day. Para-midges, small mayflies #20-24 are the bug de'jour currently.

Owens River: The Upper Owens is producing trophy sized rainbows, despite mild weather for mid December
Owens River: Flows on the Lower Owens continue to be ideal for waders and bank fisherman.
East Walker River (CA): East Walker release rates are very low so the fish are concentrated in only the deepest pools
Pleasant Valley Reservoir: Pleasant Valley has been very good at the launch ramp and inlet for tubers and shore fishermen
Owens River: The Owens River Gorge is fishing very well for this time of year due to the mild weather.

Owens River: If you want to fish for wild Browns, fish the Owens River Gorge
East Walker River (CA): Fish the Nevada section of the East Walker at this time of year
