Being a guide you have your good days, and your bad days. Hopefully, your good days far out number the bad days. Yesterday, was one of those good days. Since about late summer of last year, the Truckee River has been pumping out some big bows, bigger than normal. I knew someone that fished with me was going to catch a 10 pounder, or close to it at some point in time. Jon Anders and his wife Paula fished with me last year, I had the worst guide day all year, followed on the second day, by Jon landing the biggest brown of the year. They fished with me again yesterday, both great anglers, and people I mesh really well with. We all worked together and got some nice fish to the boat.
