Truckee River Outfitters Guide, Chris Evison has been having some excellent days with clients over the past two weeks. The flows have come up to 65 CFS and the fishing has really turned on. Baetis and Midges are still hatching some days but the hatch is short. Have your dry fly rod ready with a size 18 Baetis incase it happens while you are there. With the increased flows, streamers have started to raise some fish and as always Nymphing is the bread and butter. The next month should be awesome on the East Walker. As always keep an eye on the flows and try to go when they have remained the same for a couple of days.
