We are going to back-off on the fabulous reports the Klamath produces because there are no good fishing reports. Wait until mid May. At that point, we will be closing in on the Salmon Fly hatches that produce good fishing through June. See you then on this post/report.
The Fly Shop's ? Tips: In May and June, fishing large salmon fly dries along the banks, next to boulders and in shallow tail outs will produce those carnivores fish this river is famous for. I would not want to be a salmon fly on this river! Use 9' leaders, tapered to 2x. Attach your salmon fly dry. Cast! Check back here for updates as we close in on May!
