Angler use at Comins Lake has dropped significantly along with the trout population in the reservoir. During recent years, illegally planted northern pike have decimated this world-class trout fishery. Some anglers are making the best of a bad situation and have been fishing for pike, but word is that most would like to see the trout fishery come back. The Nevada Department of Wildlife is working toward that end.
