http://www.excelsportfishing.comWe had a good day here with a a six hour drift catching bluefin tuna. The first 30 minutes were hot and heavy with every bait that went in the water getting bit. After that it turned into a plunker bite with one or two fish hanging all the time. This was the Heroes first wide open tuna bite and even though it started off a little scary at times, they ended up settling down and doing great. Here are some pictures from our day.

The weather has changed for us and is now very windy and choppy. We decided to hug the beach on the way home to try and avoid some of the swell. This also gave us a chance to make a few drifts for reds and lings before calling it a trip. The Heroes had a chance to cover all their bases on this trip; yellowtail, yellowfin, bluefin, and now rockfish. What a great trip.......
