Most fish are in the 1/2 to 2 pound range with a few going over 2. There's been some really good shore fishing as well as fishing from boats or tubes. Power bait and Fire Bait have both been good, casting Kastmasters and Thomas Bouyants from shore or trolling them from boats has also been good.

Fly anglers have been doing well stripping streamers like matukas and buggers as well as gently stripping some dries in the evenings like mosquitos and griffiths gnats.
