https://www.thesandiego.com"We are definitely into our summer time pattern down here. We have nice warm water. We have a variety of fish to target. For the past week or so it has been Sand Bass, Calico Bass and Barracuda. The Yellowtail were pretty much MIA for about a week. However, yesterday we did see some nice schools start to show up.
We managed to catch 9 of them yesterday. We hooked about 15 of them. They are real nice sized, 15 to 25 lbs. They are fighting the fly lined sardines and surface iron. It seems like we see more and more Yellowtail everyday, the boat is out right now with 32 passengers, I'll let you know how they did today. The photo today shows 4 of the 9 Yellowtail so you can see how nice sized they are and what condition they come out of that fish hole we got them out of. Those fish sit in 32 degree refrigerated sea water all day and at the end of the day they look like they were just caught.
Come on down and see us, you can make reservations at 619-224-3383. You can check us out on-line at the San Diego Website.
